MILITARY MUSEUM IN THE BUILDING OF ENGINEER MILITARY BASE

 The Mayor of Nis, Prof. Dr. Zoran Perisic, after the meeting with the representatives of the Military Museum and the Museum of Aviation in Belgrade and the Ministry of Defence (10.23.2014.), said that the agreement was reached that the military barrack base "Filip Kljajić" (Engineering barracks) which is located on the territory Palilula, will be converted to the Military Museum. "The City of Niš does not have Military Museum and the suggestion is that perhaps certain future activities of the Military Museum and the National Museum in Nis unify the space and the barracks, Perisic said to the reporters.

SPORTS ZONE – DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE

 On the occasion of the activities beginning on the new project `Sports zone development of social infrastructure`, implemented by IPA Fund over the neighborhood programme Bulgaria-Serbia in Palilula Municipality-Nis, the first meeting of project teams of two municipalities - Palilula and Berkovica (Bulgaria) took place. Boban Dzunic, president of Palilula Municipality and Gergana Antonova, project manager and vice president of Berkovica Municipality, spoke at this meeting. Tomislav Filipov and Katia Ilinova, project coordinators were also present at this promotion on the behalf of Berkovica Municipality and Nikola Bozic, project coordinator and Milos Stojiljkovic, professional consultant from Palilula Municipality.

WREATHS LAYING AND SHOWING RESPECT

 On the occasion of remembering October 14 Day of Nis liberation and 70 years from Nis liberation in the Second World War at the Memorial ossuary burial place of Bulgarian soldiers, that is constructed in 1948 in Ledena Stena settlement in the memory of the killed soldiers in finishing operations of fight against German soldiers in the territory of SFRJ, delegations of Bulgarian Union of military veterans , Embassy of Republic of Bulgaria in Belgrade- General consulate in Nis, Palilula Municipality –Nis laid wreaths. In the name of Palilula Municipality, wreaths were laid by Aleksandar Zdrale vice president of the Assembly and Dragana Gavrilovic, chief of the Presidential cabinet.

LAYING OF WREATHS IN `BUBANJ` MEMORIAL PARK

 On the occasion of the liberation of Nis in WW2 wreaths were layed in Bubanj memorial park. The respect to the killed soldiers was given by the president of the City Assembly PhD Mile Ilic, president of Palilula Municipality Boban Dzunic, the head of Police Administration in Nis, Serbian army, members of Soldiers Union and organization of civil society. With city support and also Palilula Municipality support, Institute for monument protection in Nis, in 2005 constructed the project of restoration and conservation of this memorial place.

NEW SEEDLINGS AND GREEN SURFACES ADAPTATION

 Pasi Poljana and Delijski Vis Citizens Councils, with the support of Palilula Municipality, organized the adaptation of neglected green surfaces. President of the Municipality, Boban Dzunic with his associates Milos Stojkovic and Aleksandar Zdrale, members of Municipal Council and Office for Youth with the citizens of these settlements planted some new seedlings. The adaptation of bigger green surfaces and planting of new seedlings is very important in urban areas where the pollution is the highest. It is known that park and forest vegetation positively effect on climate, land as well as it reduces effects of gasses. It has been all recognized in Palilula Municipality and in the cooperation with councils of citizens the action of adaptation of wasted surfaces started. First the people living in Pasi Poljana settlement gathered.

THIRTY WORKING YEARS OF PORECANI SCOUTS

 With the action "Let's play" Poreacni scouts squad "Jadran" celebrates 30 years of working with young people. Several dozen of scouts, both young as well as older through more competitive disciplines have shown their skills. And the best received awards and medals. This action was held for 28th time and is a small contribution to celebration of this year programme "Children's Week 2014" in Nis. Polygon skills, knot tying, semaphore, Morse code understanding , rope pulling, are just some of the disciplines in which are fledglings and little bees are active, but also older scouts showed readiness and training.

 Nis is today the host of International festival of child creativity`Meeting of Friendship` which for the seventh timer takes place in Nis within the manifestation `Joy of Europe`. Owing gratitude to Church dancing ensemble `Branko` and Palilula Municipality the manifestation of children creativity where, beside the host, the ensembles form Macedonia, France, Belgrade and Nis participate, will be organized. On this occasion Boban Dzunic, president of Palilula Municipality, had a reception for the participants of the programme. `VERA KATIC` STREET IN MRAMOR
VILLAGE PAVED

 Within the cooperation with the Council of citizens in the settlements of Palilula Nis Municipality, it intensively has been working on the adaptation of infrastructural objects. Aiming at the improvement of life quality of the people in Mramor village, last weekend the pavement for street `Vera Katic` was finished in the length of 80 meters by `Desanka Maksimovic` elementary school building. Pupils and residents of this settlement in Mramor in future will have more appropriate approach to their homes and will not go through muddy streets anymore. Boban Dzunic, Municipal president with associates Aleksandar Zdrale vice president of the Municipal Assembly visited the works in progress together with the members of Citizens Council `Mramor`.

MRAMOR – MRAMORSKI POTOK ROADWAY COMPLETED

 Within the support in the realization of the activities of agricultural producers in Palilula Municipality, president of the Municipality of Palilula Boban Dzunic with the Head of Administration for the agriculture and village development Sasa Stoiljkovic, visited Mramor village. In this settled place, the works on the construction in the length of 3, 000 meters of road are completed. The works are completed thanks to the support of Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water supply and Administration for agriculture and village development of the village of Nis.

At the seventh Meeting of friendships of children in Nis, as Miljko Petrovic, artistic manager of the Ensemble said, groups from Skopje, Sofia, France, Serbia – Children cultural center – Belgrade, Children cultural center –Nis, members of Elementary School Ratko Vukicevic, solo from Elementary School Car Konstantin, Church dancing ensemble `Branko` Nis will be performing.
